We're a sex-positive coffee shop and cafe in the South City area of Saint Louis, MO. Although we're not really a swing club, we do hold a swinger's meet and mingle event every month on the 4th Friday - and it's a lot of fun. Plenty of like-minded people!

Now, you're probably wondering what Sex-Positive means... right?

Well, Sex Positivity is an approach to sex and human sexuality that embraces the benefits of sexual interaction as healthy and uplifting, based upon the premise that sexual expression is is a healthy and natural part of being human, and that societal repression or control of the individual's sex-drive based on fears, religious indoctrination, or stigma, is bad and unhealthy. Sex Positive people generally advocate for both freedom AND responsibility in sexuality. For instance, we support comprehensive and medically-accurate sex education. Not only does it help us understand our bodies and our sex drive (which makes for better sex!), it also gives us information on how to guard ourselves and our partners against sexually transmitted diseases and unwanted pregnancies (which is the responsible thing to do).

We're open and honest about our sexuality, and we enjoy sharing the message of sex-positivity through a place with great food and drink, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere.

We like to say that when you're at Shameless Grounds, it's alright to be bright, it's alright to be dull, and it's alright to be any damned thing you please... except a pain in the ass. :-)
